New Rules for penthouse lounge study space

Before using the room, please reserve your slot at picktime online reservation system. Use the room only at your designated slot.Please enter all fields correctly while making the reservation.

A maximum of 2 hours per day per apartment may be reserved. No more than 5 appointments may be booked per week. This is so that we can maintain high levels of availability of the room for all residents.

A maximum of 3 people can occupy the PH lounge at any given time. Parties and gatherings are still prohibited. Please clean up the room after yourself - especially the horizontal surfaces such as tables and chairs.

Maintain social distancing (6 ft. minimum between people).Furniture in the lounge has been rearranged to create study carrels that allow for social distancing Please note that while the Eastgate custodial staff are taking every effort to keep the common areas clean, you are at your own risk using this room.

All appointments are first come, first serve. Please only book if you will use the room. In case you book the room and it is found empty, booking privileges will be revoked after the 2nd such occurrence.

If you find a particular slot is frequently reserved and not available, please email eastgate-officers@mit.edu so that we can evaluate if we need to add more resources for peak hours.

Failure to comply with these rules will result in revoking reservation privileges and closing of the room for all residents.
