Event Description

Would you like to learn a new language while making new friends in Eastgate? Or would you like to connect with others who speak your language in the building? Would you like to teach someone your native language? If so, sign-up today for the Eastgate Language Program!

The Eastgate Language Program (ELP) will match you with a conversation partner interested in learning, improving or teaching the same language you are interested in. You and your partner can choose where and when to meet on a regular basis throughout the year. The Eastgate lounge can be reserved for meetings through the Spouses, Partners and International Residents Coordinators. ELP will also provide you with ideas for conversation topics to help get the conversation started. Every once and awhile, all the pairs of partners will get together for fun and refreshments in the lounge to discuss the overall experience!

If you are looking for others who speak your language in Eastgate, ELP will collect your email address and put you in contact with neighbors who speak your language. Then you can arrange to meet them on a schedule that works for you.
